Mission and Goals:
This conference is fully hosted and organized by the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). PYC is a non-profit charitable organization which provides programs and resources that support the development of energy research, health and social services as well as Indonesian cultural preservation.
The Purnomo Yusgiantoro Foundation is a “think tank” that performs research and development in the field of energy. Energy, along with water and food, is one of critical issues of the world that require immediate solutions. Research and training are the main channels to get people to better understand complex issues related to energy. Understanding the energy sector is not simple as it involves multidisciplinary science. Structuring and managing the energy sector as a whole should be understood comprehensively. For all of those reasons, the foundation is expected to contribute to the energy sector through research, training and development. This conference is one of PYC programs to fulfil this mission.
